A dormitory for guestworkers in West-Berlin, 1979: four turkish men live together in a tiny room. Here, they have to deal with their work, with their bosses, with their homesickness and with each other. On pay day, the men prepare to travel to East-Berlin, where they go out and meet with their east-german lovers. As usual, ALI is the only one who refuses to join in. KASET is about homesickness and about the conflicts between the men, who have found differing strategies to deal with a life far from their families.
