Founded in 1973, KG Productions is the company of Costa-Gavras and Michèle Ray Gavras, who is herself the producer. It has always accompanied Costa-Gavras in his projects, while at the same time devoting itself to discovering new talent: Mehdi Charef, Tony Gatlif, Liria Bégéja, Jean Teulé, Laurent Herbiet and recently Salem Brahimi with Maintenant ils peuvent venir about the dark years in Algeria. Michèle Ray Gavras was also an expert member for feature films in the PACA region in 2011 and 2012, and a member of the Jury at the 48th Cannes Film Festival in 1995, presided over by Jeanne Moreau.

He then branched out to produce a 30 x 3-minute animated series for ARTE: BLAISE, based on the comic strip of the same name by Dimitri Planchon.
