Kurzinhalt

„ I Love Being A Patriarch“ invites you to the home of the former first vice president of Bayerischer Landtag Bertold Kamm. You will spend a day with him and his wife Ruth and you become part of the family. „Are you hungry? Of course you are!“ Ans within a second you are in their kitchen watching them cook and fight and after that you will find yourself eating at the big dining table.

Bertold will also tell you his story as a contemporary witness of World War II. His time as a prisoner of the GeStaPo, torture and how to keep your belief in human kindness. His life – past, present and future come in front of your eyes. It is about getting old, how to handle age, illness and near death and still there is laugther, joy and the small but essential signs of love which bind Bertold and Ruth for over 60 years now.

In the beginning, the might be strangers, in the end you will have a hard time to say goodbye to them.
