Tadeusz Boy-Żeleński (Tomasz Kot), Witkacy (Marcin Dorociński), Joseph Conrad (Andrzej Seweryn) and Bronisław Malinowski (Wojciech Mecwaldowski), four leading figures among the Zakopane bohemians, wake up after an all-night drunken party. Their hangover headaches are killing them, none of them remembers anything, and finding the corpse of a male stranger on the floor doesn’t help. In addition, the police are already banging on the door, and that’s just the beginning of their problems. A race against time begins, in which the protagonists have to free themselves not just of suspicion but also of equally dangerous community gossip, and solve the puzzle of the mysterious death as quickly as possible. Soon these brilliant and risk-loving men turn the culturally vibrant Zakopane into the backdrop of a huge intrigue involving gangsters, artists and politicians, including Zofia Nałkowska and Józef Piłsudski.
