Fall, 1952.
A young urologist and healer, who practices in a hospital in the Moscow suburbs, desperately tries to become pregnant to her husband, a disillusioned physician who only survives thanks to the love he feels for his wife. To her horror, she must treat Stalin, who is ill and has recently got rid of his personal doctor. The dictator worms his way into the couple's existence and establishes a relationship,combining confessions and manipulative behavior, with the young woman. Now amiable, now perverse, the monster delivers his art of terror in ways that it has never been seen before.
