Osidian Oblivion

We are at a party. This one special party we all know. Everyone is conscious. Conscious of their surroundings but mostly self-conscious. It's all about seeing and being seen but are we actually seeing each other? Understanding each other? We wanna connect with people, meet that certain someone, find that special chance, we wann be found, be held. Everyone is just looking for love and appreciation. A party is society boiled down to a certain group in a certain space. People come together and have to come to terms with each other so that everyone is having the best time possible. Unfortunately we are quite self-centered and mostly think about our own wellbeing so living together doesn't always work out that well.
But it's a party! Shouldn't we all enjoy ourselves and have some fun? If only time didn't crash the party. If only time wasn't this unwanted guest creeping in and turning love into fear, envy and hate.
