When in Venice

Maximilian and Maria were born in different parts of the world, with contrasting traditions and life expectations. She´s Brazilian, while he is from Germany, she´s a Chemist in an unhappy marriage, whereas he is an IT expert, and ex-romantic, traumatized from a nasty divorce and currently in a new relationship.
Destiny brings these two together at the same hotel to attend different conferences in a city just outside of Venice, Italy. One night, they discover that they share the mutual frustration of never having visited the most romantic city in the world.
With their lovers a thousand miles away and Venice right around the corner, the temptation is too great and they make a spontaneous decision to fulfill their life-long dream together.
