We own the Night

Joaquin Phoenix and Mark Wahlberg will star in this police thriller to be directed and written by James Gray, produced by Nick Wechsler and 2929 Productions head Marc Butan, as well as Phoenix and Wahlberg, and executive produced by Wagner and Cuban. Phoenix is an up-and-coming nightclub manager in 1980s Queens who falls into a rivalry with his police officer brother (Wahlberg), as the Russian mafia take control of the club scene and touch off a war within the New York Police Department.
